We’re delighted to be once again bringing together some of the best people in the business for this year’s CHAR event.
CHAR(14) is a ‘must attend’ international conference for anyone interested in Clustering, High Availability, and Replication plus all forms of Parallel, Distributed and Grid architectures.
This year’s event takes place in the elegant Horwood House, nestled in the heart of the Buckinghamshire countryside and only eleven miles from Milton Keynes, England.
CHAR conferences aim to stimulate discussion and development of technologies in the areas of:
- Clustering Technologies
- High Availability Solutions
- Replication Techniques
- Distributed Caching and Querying
- Parallel & Massively Parallel Processing
- Grid Architectures
- Remote & Distributed Processing
- Load Balancing Recovery and Resilience
The conference will also cover PostgreSQL and derived technologies plus associated or underlying technologies such as distributed file systems, caching, networking or hardware – open source or otherwise.
Talks will be selected based upon their novelty but also upon their ability to explain to a wide audience of users, architects, developers and infrastructure specialists.
Tickets to this year’s conference cost just £125 including tax. This entitles you to entrance, refreshments throughout the day, lunch and an evening BBQ with garden buffet. Accommodation is also available at a discounted rate (see Accommodation tab above).
PGDay UK – 9th July
PGDay UK will be taking place at the same venue, the day after CHAR(14), so if you’d like to attend both events, we’re offering a combined ticket and discounted accommodation rates. Simply hit the ‘Book Now’ button and select the appropriate option.
The PGDay UK conference focuses on bringing PostgreSQL users to a whole new level of understanding. The conference will cover the core topics you need to be successful with PostgreSQL. More details on PGDay UK can be found here.
